Travel to Belize

When you come to Belize, you will surely feel that you are somewhere in one of the sets in a Hollywood film. The fantastic areas in this beautiful island in the Caribbean will definitely captivate any visitor’s heart. Just like the director-producer Francis Ford Coppola who is now the new owner of Belize’s oldest and famous jungle lodge. Mr. Coppola renovated the place into an alluring Mayan design. You may think that Tarzan and Jane is actually living in this jungle lodge. Equally exciting points of interests are the 5 cascading waterfalls throughout the rainforest. Also, the rainforest in Belize is rich of the black orchid which is Belize national flower. These orchids are the ingredients of some herbal medicines use by a number of ancient Mayas which are known with the peculiar names such as Flu Away, Belly Be Good and Jackass Bitters Tea. With these names, you may not wonder what these are for. Because Belize is more of the forest and jungle island, Belize proudly is the sole jaguar preservation in the planet and also the home some cat species like the margays, pumas or mountain lion or cougar, jaguarundis and ocelots. During one of your jungle adventure, you may meet its national animal, the scary tapir otherwise known as the mountain cow. What is peculiar with it is that it looks like a cow and a pig rolled into one. Belize is a haven for nature lovers for sure. But while you are here, the nightlife in Belize City is also another exciting point of interest that you might want to experience.
