The Colosseum
It is an ancient building that was constructed by the emperor Vespasian in AD 72. It was built on the grounds of Nero’s private Domus Aurea. This monument is located in piazza Del Colosseo. It is closed for visitors every year on 25th December and from 9am to 5pm on 1st of January. It was used for mining of marble and travertine for various buildings like palazzo venezia. The Pantheon
This is spiritual building, which is located in piazza rotunda. It was basically build as a Roman temple but was later consecrated as a catholic church. The doors of this temple are made of bronze with a cylindrical interior volume that rises up in the form of hemispherical dome.

The Roman Forum
The Roman forum is located in Romolo and Remo. In ancient times, it served as a political, commercial and religious centre. This area was used for grazing herbivorous animals during the medieval times. The whole Roman forum is build of precious marbles that make it one of the preferred places to visit in Rome.
